Semi Synthetic Cutting Oils (fluids)

Semi Synthetic Cutting Oil is a variety of cutting fluid which is versatile and used in many different multiple processes of cutting, grinding, honing, broaching etc. Semi Synthetic Cutting Oil consists up to 25-30% hybrid of soluble oils and synthetic petroleum oil. It also contains small dispersion of mineral oil. Semi Synthetic Cutting Oil is 100 % Water Soluble. Maximum Part of Semi Synthetic Cutting Oil consists of Emulsifier and Water. Some quantity of wetting agents and corrosion inhibitors is also mixed in Semi Synthetic Cutting Oil.

Semi Synthetic Cutting Oil is also known to the name of chemical emulsions or preformed chemical emulsions as it contain emulsifier oil and water. Varieties of different Semi Synthetic Cutting Oils are translucent and can vary from different transparency opaque properties. Normally Semi Synthetic Cutting Oils are heat sensitive and molecules of Semi Synthetic Cutting Oils cover cutting tools and provide lubricity.

Semi Synthetic Cutting Oils are appropriate for vast operations in different machining applications. Semi Synthetic Cutting Oils are also easier to maintain for long period over soluble cutting oils and neat cutting oils. Semi Synthetic Cutting Oils have low viscosity and have good cooling, cleaning & wetting properties than soluble cutting oils. Semi Synthetic Cutting Oils have properties of good longevity, corrosion protection, good control on rancidity and bacterial growth during operational process. Semi Synthetic Cutting Oils contain low oil as compared to soluble or neat cutting oils, so Semi Synthetic Cutting Oils generate very low oil mist & smoke during operational process.

Despite having many advantages in semi synthetic cutting oils, one disadvantage of semi synthetic cutting oils is “Being quality effect due to hardness in water”. If there is variation in water hardness which is mixed in semi synthetic cutting oil, that directly affect to quality of Semi Synthetic Cutting Oils. More hardness in water becomes the cause of scum deposits. Scum deposits spoil the quality of semi synthetic cutting oils which decrease lubricity.

Soluble cutting oils (fluids)

The soluble cutting oil offered by is water soluble cutting oil that is specially formulated for heavy cutting and grinding operations. It has stable milky white emulsion up to 400 ppm (CaC03) providing it good antirust and bactericide properties. Our cutting oil is suitable for various purposes including metal cutting, turning, threading, drilling, and grinding. With standard dose of 5% emulsion with water, the dilution depends upon the lubrication required in the process.

Neat Cutting Oil

Neat Cutting Oil is a variety of oil which is manufactured by using of special good quality mineral oils and other additives. Neat Cutting Oil is non soluble, neither during manufacturing process nor after manufacturing, water is not used. Neat Cutting Oil is used directly without any dilution in different working processes like grinding, honing, turning, milling, broaching, drilling, tapping, gear cutting etc.

Neat Cutting Oil is made of special fatty additives like active sulphur which provide it more cutting assistance during long working process. Neat Cutting Oil has low mist propensity during using process of making coolant to cutting tools & metals. Neat Cutting Oil as compared to soluble & synthetic cutting fluids generate more lubrication for reducing frictional heat when cutting tools cut or penetrates to metals. Neat Cutting Oil is used from light machining to high machining operations of grinding, honing, turning, milling, drilling, tapping & cutting.

Normally Neat Cutting Oil is used in those cases

- Where cutting tools are used on high and fine quality’s thick metals.

- Where Cutting, Turning, Drilling, Grinding, Honing of metals by cutting tools to be require of fine quality.

- In Some cases Water Soluble and Semi Synthetic cutting oils can harm to some metals during cutting process due to presence of water in cutting oils. Those special sensitive metals’s cutting process requires waterless pure cutting oils. In such cases, Neat Cutting Oil is applicable.

- In some older cutting tool machines & in that case where speed of cutting process is kept slow for giving fine shape to metals, for this more lubricity also require. For getting more lubricity, neat cutting oil is used over any other cutting oil.

Rust Preventive Oil

Rust Preventive Oil as the name implies, is a variety of oil which stop rust layer freezing on surface of metals when used outer side of metals. When any metal come in the link of air and water then a thick layer of rust automatically freeze outer side of metal, this layer of rust weaken to the metal slowly. Weakness of metal due to rust ultimately reduces life of metal and metal soon perish.

For preventing rust freezing outer surface of metals Rust Preventive Oil is used. Rust Preventive Oil is polished outer surface of metals. Polishing of rust preventive oil on metal prevents metal’s link with water and air. Rust Preventive Oil becomes a hurdle between Metal and Water/Air. Thus rust doesn’t freeze outer surface of any metal because of rust preventive oil. Use of Rust Preventive Oil on metal makes sure long life of metals.
